Join Dr. Greg Eckel for his upcoming training on
In this free online training, you'll discover the 3 root-cause drivers behind most Parkinson's, why less than 10% of it is genetic, the 5 distinct Parkinson's types and what these patterns reveal, and the advanced testing that finds what a standard workup was never built to look for.
Dr. Greg Eckel did not start in neurology. He started as a preschool teacher in Portland, watching a four-year-old sit dulled and flat on medication prescribed to make the classroom run more smoothly. He kept thinking there had to be a better way than sedating the life out of a child. That thought propelled him into medicine, and it never left him.
In 2018 it became personal. His wife, Sarieah, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive neurodegenerative disease, and for the first time he sat on the other side of the table, asking the same questions you may be asking now. The system had no real answers. So he stopped asking what to prescribe and started asking something deeper: why is this happening, in this body, at this time, and what is driving it? He ended up losing his wife later that year, but that question became his life's work and mission.
Over more than two decades in integrative and regenerative medicine, and thousands of people with Parkinson's later, he built The Eckel Protocol® and the 5 Parkinson's Types framework on that one question. The reason to listen is simple. He asks what the rest of the system skips: not just what you have, but what is causing it, and what can be done. And we know now, there is more to Parkinson's than just manage it and wait.
And why a standard neurology workup was never built to look for them.
And a real sense of which one may fit you.
The difference between confirming a diagnosis and finding a cause.
A complimentary, validated assessment (the PDQ-39) of where Parkinson's is affecting your quality of life most right now.

Who this is for
You or someone you love was recently diagnosed, and you want to understand what is actually happening before you decide anything.
You have lived with this for years and feel like you have only ever been handed medication to manage the symptoms.
You have been told your scans or labs are "normal," and something in you knows that is not the whole story.
You are the spouse, the son or daughter, the friend, and you want real answers for the person you are caring for.
Think back to how you were diagnosed. Someone watched you walk across the room. Maybe there was a scan that could not truly confirm anything either way. Then came the label, the prescription, and "come back and see me in a few months."
Here is what should stop you. In that entire process, not one test was run to answer the only question that matters: what is causing this to happen in your body?
That is not a failure of your doctor. It is the design of the system they work inside. It was built to name the condition and manage the symptoms. It was never built to go looking for the cause.
So the care you have been given is not wrong. It is half of the picture. This training is the other half.
Start with the cause
Less than 10% of Parkinson's is thought to be genetic.
Which means for the other 90%, this was never written into your DNA. Something else happened. Something physical set it in motion, something in your history, your environment, or your body.
And if something set it in motion, then it can be found. That is the whole premise of this training. Your symptoms are not random. They are pointing at real, physical drivers underneath, and there is a way to go looking for them.

What's actually driving it
If it wasn't written in your genes, then something set it in motion. After thousands of cases, it almost always traces back to one of three root causes, the same three a standard workup was never built to check.
Mercury from old fillings, lead from old pipes, mold from a water-damaged home. Things that settle into fat and quietly affect the brain for years.
Physical, emotional, even inherited stress, which shows up as measurable changes in your hormones, inflammation, and nervous system.
Epstein-Barr, Lyme, and other hidden infections that can drive inflammation and keep the immune system confused for years.
Here is the part that should stop you: most people with this diagnosis have never been checked for a single one of them. On the training, you'll see exactly how each one is found.
Save your seat
It is free, online, and it may be the first time anyone has actually gone looking for what is driving your symptoms.
Choose the session time that works best for you and save your seat. Bring the person walking this road with you, and we'll remind you before we go live.
